I have always missed the Texas skirt and boots weather here in Ohio because the temperatures drop so quickly. But this year, with the warmer days, skirt and boots ensembles are in full swing and I could not be happier. There is something about it that is so flirty, effortless and chic-feeling!

I have been wanting to get a full-buttoned/snap front skirt for the longest time and could never find one I loved. When I saw this one at the great price and with the scalloped suede- I fell in love! Pairing it with turtle neck tanks and cardigans/denim jackets for cooler days or a simple v-neck and leather jacket are both perfect. With those, you can grab you favorite leather booties to tie off the casual look or dress it up with some knee boots or OTK ones like I have on!
The color options are fantastic and scream fall! And who does not love things that scream fall? I can’t wait to pair this with a chunky turtleneck and scarf- hello, fall!
Over-the-knee boots, also known as OTK Boots if you’ve seen that being used a lot, always made me so nervous. I never knew what I would pair them with and if they would make my legs look longer or shorter. But when I was in Colorado visiting Russell, I found these and tried them on being so pleasantly surprised. I think they make legs appear even thinner and really elongate them. Pairing them with skirts makes your skirts look a little longer, along with your legs- hollah!
When I wear skirts, no matter if they’re casual or fancy, I love to tie the look together with a handbag that finishes the outfit with a wow. This one is so price friendly and GORGEOUS!
You can also pair the skirts with ankle boots, but I am always cautious to make sure they are a little bit longer so that I never appear shorter, or showing a ton of skin in the season of layering!
