I love fall weekends more and more every year. There is something about the cozy atmosphere that always makes me want to do something fun every weekend. Plus, I love the denim looks and fall boots that always emerge just in time for the season. If you rewind back a couple posts and see this pb teen one where I painted pumpkins, you’ll realize those two pumpkins are the little guys I picked out here.

Fall Denim Looks at Beckwith Orchards
Beckwith Orchards, Kent, Ohio, November 1st 2016
Old Navy Denim Jacket, Turtleneck Sweater (also in red– c/o), BDG Black Denim, OTK Boots, Leatherology Bag c/o, Zara Hat, Madewell Necklace
On this rather toasty fall morning, we wandered the orchard for a while, taking in the sweet smell of the apples and the warm breeze. Knowing we wanted to come here this fall, we luckily checked before going to learn that you could not actually apple pick here (which is why we went to this orchard– which is also GORGEOUS). So, we figured we would come here just in time for pumpkins!
Warmer autumn days always throw me for a loop on what to wear, because I feel like fall is all about layers. However, with casual denim looks, made up of a denim jacket, jeans, a dress or denim button down, you can always easily shed layers or add on to stay warm/cool.
Turtlenecks have become my go-to in the cooler months. I love layering them under jackets, coats and ponchos. I think they have a really chic, understated, look about them that really speaks for itself.
I have so many favorites this season, but some of my favorite classic looking ones are this mock turtleneck sweater (so affordable!), this one this a fun zipper touch, this cashmere beauty that looks SO soft and cozy, this knit option in the blue, this lettuce edge long sleeve tee, I love this one’s center seam and this camel option.
I am a stripe addict so I am crushing on this tissue tee, this chunkier option and this super affordable and adorable one!
