Whenever I try and figure out the finishing touches of my outfit, I always lean towards a statement jacket/jacket made of a beautiful fabric to tie it all together. I think they really speak for themselves and pull together an outfit completely- especially in the fall/winter!

Last weekend, I threw on this jacket and wandered around hudson (as you might have seen in my business casual post sharing my favorite skirts for the season and my shirtdress post) soaking up the sun rays and great temperatures. We stumbled upon this grocery store (which may I add it is way too cute to be just be a store) loving all the plants and pumpkins outside.
There is something about flowers that evoke so much happiness in a person. At least in my roommates and I! I think they are so full of color and really show the detailed beauty in the world.
We had so much fun with pumpkins this fall that I am actually getting sad that fall is leaving. And that means a lot because let me tell you, I am christmas seasons’ biggest fan. I am completely guilty of playing Michael Buble’s Christmas album already and I am not ashamed.
I fell in love with this talbots collection jacket as soon as I saw it, knowing a black tweed was definitely the color missing from my collection. I am a jacket lover, especially now that I have a true fall/winter to wear them in up north! This faux fur jacket is identical to the one that I got in Italy. Plus, this one is also amazing (I want to buy it so badly).
I have been doing casual, lose curls so often lately and love how easy they are to do. My hair curls in about 4 minutes- It is a definite perk of it being so thin. Got to think positive right?! Jackets add a touch of elegance to an outfit, so loose curls definitely help play the part.
I also love this jacket to pair with jeans, this one to throw over the perfect holiday dress and this one to grab and go for a day out. Take an extra step and look to your jackets for some extra pizazz this holiday season! Lastly, I hope everyone has a lovely first weekend of November! P.S. today is my lovely mom’s birthday and I cannot say enough how thankful I am for her. I love you mom and strive to be more like you every day!
