For me, I believe that accessorizing (or not accessorizing) makes or breaks an outfit- especially during the holiday season. The variety in which you can choose from is endless, so why not have a little fun when putting the final touches on your holiday look!

Accessorizing the Holiday Season

Often people assume looks in the holiday season are full of sequins, velvet, sparkle and jeweled tones, which they are…sometimes. The other 75% of the time that you are not at a party or dinner, you holiday look is complete with layers, plaids, fall/winter tones and something comfortable enough to run holiday errands in all day.
So, why not feel fabulous in all those in between outfits as well? I threw on this cape ( sharing this coat later this week that I also love to run errands for the season in) over this turtleneck and took on the day. Accessories are not only jewelry, but capes (like this fabulous one), scarves, shawls (adore this one– so price friendly!), purses, glasses, etc.
I am a frequent watch wearer, and you can see one of my favorite to wear in this post I shared yesterday.
Now, when it comes to jewelry, I love to go all out. I am a jewelry fanatic and love adding all of those extra touches onto my look. Today, I paired this Gold Bangle (Bead) with my Silver Bangle (Bead) and stacked them. I often have a hard time mixing metals, however, this year I started to break out of my shell and try it. I love putting my gold beads on silver bangles and my silver on gold, so that I feel like they still coordinate.
I love these dainty little earrings and the fact that you can change the charm. I also love these and these. As you accessorize, be cautious of over-doing your jewelry when it comes to earrings and necklaces. I love to follow the one statement rule. So, if I have statement (dangling) earrings, I hold off on a necklace or wear a extremely delicate one, and if I have a statement necklace I stick to studs. Let your jewelry talk, but let your clothes talk as well!
Lastly, I adore rings. I pretty much wear just silver rings (which is extremely odd considering I wear mainly all gold jewelry). But, I love the mixing metals of the Tie Ring and already want to add this blush ring to all of my holiday looks.
