The transitional looks from winter to spring can either be the best or the worst. The excitement to break out a new skirt or dress is always at an all time high at the end of February. However, I have learned quickly that layers are the trick to transitioning wardrobes and not getting too cold on the crisp (sometimes quite chilly) spring days.

Transitioning wardrobes between seasons is all about layering. From jackets to scarves, adding layers to your look automatically elevates it and ensures you will be warm when those chilly moments come. I love to pair my spring statement pieces, like dresses or skirts with a coat or jacket that can be added or taken away at any moment.
Plus, due to living in the chillier part of the country, I tend to pair them with a light sweater/turtleneck to stay warm. After that, I love to add accessories of the upcoming season, like my floral earrings and handbag!
Lastly, I pick a pair of shoes that would work in the upcoming season but have the warmth of the season before! So, I opted for closed toes shoes in a light spring hue.
What are your tricks for transitioning outfits? I would love to hear them. Fashion is all about learning tips and tricks! We had a 74 degree day yesterday and it is 31 right now- talk about a transition- Happy Saturday everyone!
