As I had mentioned, I definitely lacked in posts at the end of spring and through out summer due to graduating, job searching and moving. However, I was still out and shooting! With that being said, I wanted to gather it all together today and tomorrow, in one place and show you what all I wore for my spring and summer fashion moments. Also, as I share all these images I cannot help but think of Hannah today. This blog would not be possible without her and she is celebrating her 23rd birthday! I am beyond thankful for all the effort and love she put into this blog along side of me. Simply Poised and I miss her here in California every single day!

Although I wish I would have been on top of it to share the lengthy version of each of these days, I am happy to share a little snippet with you. Each of these shoots made me laugh for a different reason. The floral dress shoot was actually in someone’s backyard, after we got caught taking photos in their beautiful front yard. A man came and said hi and asked if we wanted to see his backyard where he created a whole garden. I am so glad we made the adventure back there, because it was GORGEOUS. The man was so talented and incredibly sweet.
As for this look, it was one of my favorite transitional combos from spring and summer fashion. I actually saw these beautiful trees on Hannah’s and I’s drive to Target and asked her to pull over…oops.
These pink blooms were around the corner from our house at school and we got heckled none stop by the college boys in the house they were in front of. It was so worth it for the shot!
As summer really winds down on the east coast, it starts to cool down in the south (ha…maybe) and we get chillier nights here on the west coast, I am so excited for a little jacket weather. Although spring and summer fashion has my heart, I love a little layering.
My Frank and Eileen button downs are my FAVORITE. Seriously. They are worth every penny. My sister’s and I love them (hint, hint: I have a giveaway coming up with them in the upcoming weeks, stay tuned).
Honestly, I think the best part of spring and summer fashion is all the light hues that match all the florals. Goodness, there is not much better than looking up at pink and white trees. Well, palm trees are a close second that I am growing to adore just as much.
I plan to transition the light colors, the whites, blues and pinks from my spring and summer fashion, into my fall attire. Gravitating towards a white base color year round is my go-to!
I cannot believe how quickly time has flown as I look at these pictures from only 4 or 5 months ago, but my oh my it has. My life has definitely changed so much. I miss my friends in Kent, but I am so thankful for the life I am getting to live right now.
It is funny to pray and pray and pray for 4 years that my life will fall into place, and then it actually do so. It has sort of all been a blur. A very big, super blessed, blur.
Although I will miss the past two seasons, I am always excited for a change. Here we come fall! Spring is beautiful. Summer is sweet. Life is good. But, fall, I am ready for you. Here is to a new adventure, new styles and new challenges!
