My family is a BIG beach family. We love being in the water, getting tan and enjoying the all around relaxing lifestyle that comes with it. So, when Russ and I started going on more mountain trips, I was a little skeptical of how much I would love it. But, I did know that I’d love finding snow gear. Who doesn’t love figuring out how to look cute with 2394234 layers on?

However, over the past 2 years, I have really fallen in love with the snow escapes. We always say, the cold isn’t that bad when you’re dressed for it. Snow gear has quickly become one of my favorite things to shop for. I get really excited to find products that are not only cute, but warm. The “slope style” for snow gear honestly terrifies me a little bit. I can’t quite imagine not matching and wearing crazy prints. But, with great effort, I found a way to match, dress to my personality and still be a little bold.
I have been looking for a clean slope look that was chic, yet practical. I found snowboarding coat, these snow pants, and this fleece half zip. I loved the idea of matching the sky and snow. It may sounds silly but I was very excited to do it. One thing I love about this coat it that it has a navy fur trim instead of a classic tan or black. On top of that, it has a cleaner for your goggles- HUGE. These pants are perfect for riding. They are actually super stretchy and just high-waisted enough that I don’t worry about them falling down. I got mediums in everything and it all fit perfectly for a day on the slopes.
