THE summer maxi dress. I will be the first to admit that I have a few, okay more than a few, dresses I claim to be ” THE summer maxi dress”. However, I truly love this one so much and think everyone should own it. Reason #1 why I love it? It’s SO SOFT. It’s an ongoing joke that I rank the love of my clothes by softness, but it just makes me happy. If it’s comfy and cute…I am all in. This summer maxi dress feels like a light blanket and makes me want to never take it off. I wore it out for an afternoon in Capri where the wind was a little crisper, but the temperature was still decently high and it was everything I needed. It pairs perfectly with a cream sweater or a denim jacket.
When we were traveling to and from places in Italy, we have a lot of walking around to do. We were constantly on the go and I wanted something that was breezy, but warm enough to cover me up from the ocean breezes. This dress was E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G. When I put it on, I instantly felt like some Italian coastal girl who was just romping around the island (that is my dream). I love that the length is just long enough that my 5’6″ self isn’t tripping everywhere I go. It also has adjustable straps so that if you’re a taller girl, or a shorter one, you can fix it to your height…hello, heaven.
So, if a dress can make me feel that magical…I think you deserve to feel that magical too. Also, these pics were taken on the porch of our Air Bnb…it was a little slice of paradise. I can’t wait to return one day.
