When I first saw this coat, I knew it was the most fabulous holiday touch to any outfit. There is something great about holiday coats that really finish off a great outfit. Ever since moving up north for school, my coat addiction has gotten extremely out of hand (ask my mom and roommates), however, it is all you wear during the winter season!

I have made it home for the holidays and managed to somehow pack for over a month in Texas, plus a week in Colorado all in one suitcase! One of the things I sadly had to really narrow down were my holiday coats. I have so many fun options, but left it to three of my favorites including this one I am wearing. I also asked for this one, or the all red version for Christmas!
I like to play by the one statement piece rule when I dress. I have talked about it before with jewelry and it sort of goes the same way for clothes. I love to have one piece of clothing that makes a statement and then love to let the other pieces I am wearing with it, help it do the talking. However, shoes are on their own as well! So, I can totally have a statement piece of jewelry, a statement coat and a pair of statement heels.
For example- I love these boots that have an emerald tint and also love this gold version and these statement gold ones for an NYE party paired with a black slip (you only have a few nights you could get away with those, ya know?)
As far as coats go, if you are a faux fur girl who loves the elegant holiday touch they bring to an outfit, I love this faux fur collar one, this fabulous cropped number, this pink faux fur reversible coat, this pink one that I have, and this fur vest if your holiday is too warm for a coat.
If you are a plaid lover, I love this red and black one, this one I am wearing, this one in the same print and this jacket!
If you are off to the mountains for the holidays, I love this coat and if you are off the NYC, I love this one.
