Hello, hello, hello! I am back! Truth be told, life has been a little (a whole lot) crazy and this website has sort have been on the back burner. However, I have been so so inspired while being out here and am hoping to come back to this stronger than ever. As I was applying to jobs this summer and spending time with family, this just sort of seemed like a job and that is something I never want to happen. Nonetheless, I am so overjoyed to bring all the new additions and updates to Simply Poised in my new home. So, I thought I would share the last shoot from TX I have!

As far as a life update goes, we are getting settled here in Santa Monica (read more in this post) and loving all the new things it has brought into our lives. From the beach and palm trees, to bikes rides and farmers markets- I think I am in heaven. I have a feeling the summer days are going to be here for a while longer. We constantly stop, look around and just laugh. It is like every single day of our lives is vacation.
My job thus far has been a joy! There are so many young, inspiring people in the office that I have quickly learned so much from. It is the perfect place for me to be right now, I am sure of it. Every day brings a new challenge and it constantly has me on my toes, and I LOVE it.
As far as my living situation goes, I have 2 WONDERFUL roommates. Honestly, I was so nervous coming here and trying to find somewhere and someone to live with, but these 2 girls are absolutely fantastic. Too say the least, I am so thankful!
I have a couple slow weekends coming up before a handful of extremely busy (and fun!) ones but I cannot wait to share each and every one. Also, we are trying to figure out all the places in California we need to visit while being here, so if you have any favorite places, please email, comment or DM me and let me know!
