I thought of starting Simply Poised (my original fashion blog), over Christmas break my freshman year of college, in 2013. I had hoped it would be an outlet to share everything from my fashion design projects to the outfits I was wearing in between. Little did I know, almost six years later, I would still be using this platform to share my love for the world, fashion, and people. My roots lie in the Dallas, but my heart lies in whatever adventures I can find. As I go on my journey to achieve my dreams as a founder, photographer, fashion designer or wherever my path may lead me, I thought I would share my travels, the outfits I wore and what I’ve learned. I love fashion not because I love to flaunt my style or show all the latest brands I wear, but because of the confidence it gives so many girls who need to see the beauty in themselves. As I adventure through southern California and soak up this Santa Monica lifestyle while I can, I hope to share all the little moments in between.
